The efficiency of our production line showed a dramatic improvement, which allowed us to produce the products much faster with markedly smaller number of defects.
Due to the efficient production, we could lower the price of the products. Since our products can out-compete our competitors’ products in terms of price, people began to choose ours.
All the products produced in our Yotsukaichi and Shanghai factories are showing noticeable increase among other products. This support the idea that improved efficiency of the production lien was the primary cause of the sales increase.
It depends on the region, but the sales increased by 250% in Southeast Asia, 180% in Australia, 150% in North America, and roughly 120% in South America. Please refer to this handout for details.
Since I think this increase is attributable to the improvement of our production line, it is advised that we look into our other production lines and see if we can make the production process more efficient. Whenever possible and appropriate, we should consider adjusting the price, especially if our competitors have similar products with lower price.
